Salvi Group is involved in every phase of the fruit and vegetable chain. In the first stage (the nursery), there's the Salvi Vivai S.S. farming business that produces strawberry plants, fruit trees and rootstock to be sold both to the Group companies and outside markets. Along with C.I.V. (Italian Consortium of Nurseries), the company has always been committed to research aimed at developing and distributing new plant varieties and innovative growing techniques. Around a thousand associated farm producers throughout Italy work in the fruit production phase; Salvi also works directly in production with Giotto e Gaia and Gio' e Gik.
