The Otto Junker high-grade steel foundry in Lammersdorf, Simerath (20 km south of Aachen), specialises in special alloys. Our range of materials offers customers a wide selection of high-alloy iron-, nickel- and cobalt-based varieties. These materials are melted in highly efficient induction ovens, using vacuum technology where required. Our range of products includes corrosion-resistant alloys, heat-resistant alloys, non-magnetisable alloys, hard-wearing alloys and multiple special nickel- and cobalt-based alloys. We also make cast ferrous materials designed to handle exceptionally high levels of stress corrosion from JUNKERALLOY® nickel-based alloys. We have been producing and supplying many of these materials for decades. We produce more materials than are shown on our website – about 100 varieties in total.

Our aluminum casting alloys are produced according to applicable standards such as PN EN 1676, DIN 1725, PN-76/H-88027, ZN-86/MH-MN-260-14, or modified according to the chemical composition specified by the customer. Each alloy is filtered and refined to ensure that it meets high-quality standards. We also offer aluminum for steel deoxidation in grades A2, A4, A5, and A6, which can also be produced according to the chemical composition specified by the customer. Our deoxidizers are used by leading companies in the steel industry and help remove oxygen and other impurities from the steel process. In addition to aluminum alloys, our sales offering also includes various types of scrap and waste that are a byproduct of the production process or scrap classification.

We have the capacity to handle a wide range of diameters, from 80 to 5000 mm and up to 20 tonnes, working with alloys created in-house. Our catalogue includes copper alloys, stainless steels, special steels and aluminiums. We manufacture and machine round items (rings, sleeves, tubes and cylinders) using centrifugal (spun) casting processes. We deliver parts as blanks or machined.

In line with the pattern demand, the technical drawings are given to the pattern shop in our structure or to the pattern manufacturers we have been working for years. In the laboratory, for all productions, chemical analysis, mechanical yield - tensile - elongation tests, and when required hardness tests, UT, MT and MPI tests are provided.
