For 20 years, AFS has been one of Germany's leading manufacturers of air purifying systems and equipment for cleaning oil and emulsion mist for the metalworking industry. We offer oil and emulsion mist separating equipment – central extraction systems for oil and emulsion mist – air intake systems with heat recovery – ventilation systems – industrial environmental protection – special designs with active carbon for purifying exhaust air containing hydrocarbons. AFS is series outfitter for numerous leading machine tool manufacturers around the world, such as DMG Mori, Starrag Group, Fanuc, Stama, Kunzmann, and many more.

The foundation stone for our medium-sized family company was laid down by our two founding company directors Manfred and Thomas Eckardt. In 2002, we celebrated our company's anniversary; 25 years of standing for reliability, good service, continuity and growth. In mid 2001, our Company Director Manfred Eckardt died. Shortly afterwards his son Thomas Eckardt unexpectedly also died, upon which our management changed in mid 2002. Mrs. Beate Eckardt was the new Managing Director of the company from then on (March 2002 until May 2005). Since 1st June 2005, Mr. Axel Eckardt has been the Managing Director of the company. Eckardt & Sohn GmbH and will continue to run the company as before. Eckardt & Sohn operates locally as well as globally. The broad range of our services and our many years of experience mean we can satisfy any customer's specific requests.

Our extensive experience in the design and construction of several thousand heaters ensures that our work is safe and routine. There has been a growing tradition of constructing heat transfer oil systems in the region around the district town of Wiesloch in Baden over the course of the last few decades. The "Wiesloch" design of these systems has become globally known for its brand and quality. The employees of Ascentec GmbH are all recognised specialists in the industry with many years of professional practice. Many of them come from the former company of "Apparatebau Wiesloch", a pioneer in heat transfer oil systems that is also rich in tradition. That's why it's not surprising that, despite being a young company, we nevertheless have decades of experience in the design, construction and implementation of thermotechnical systems. The choice of the headquarters of the Ascentec company in the industrial area of St. Leon-Rot, in the vicinity of Wiesloch, is not a coincidence either. We feel connected to the tradition of boiler construction that reigns here. Our heat transfer oil heater designs follow the globally known "Wiesloch" design that is valued for its reliability and high quality, and unite this with modern construction methods and insights. Our engineering expertise, in conjunction with close cooperation with selected suppliers and proven manufacturing and installation partners, ensures the consistently high quality and reliability of the products.
