Modus develops, produces and sells automatic optical inspection systems (AOI) for quality control of high-volume manufacturing. The modus inspection systems are available both as inline and offline variants. With an ultra-fast scan speed and full coverage of visible part inspection, modus systems do not affect your cycle time. Modus has plenty of customers in the automotive, industrial and consumer electronics market, which have high expectations of production quality and production reliability. It started over 30 years ago as an engineering office with prior experience in building test equipment, which later became modus, a high-tech company providing German design and development with inspection systems manufactured in-house. Today, there are several thousand inspection systems, the majority of which are scanner-based. This makes modus the European market leader for scanner-based AOIs. We believe the main reason for our success is based on a close and trusting relationship with our customers. The modus team guarantees a fast response time for support and service questions. Modus is ISO-9000-certified, and all our systems include a CE Declaration of Conformity.
